This Tranquility Candles candle comes in the form of a sphere. It is made of wax and produces light just like any other candle. However, its base contains red, green, and blue LED lights, which are triggered by the infrared light coming from the candle flame.

These LED lights glow and keep changing the colour that can be seen through the wax. The candle is powered by small 3-volt batteries that can run the LED setup far more than the life of the candle wax.
