Well-cut
Well-cut is made before the tip is applied to nail. Hold edge cutter at 45° angle to loose tip, With a body of edge cutter in the palm of your hand. Insert loose tip into cutting slot of edge. Cutter and press handle to cut tip. This will create a well-cut.
Straight-edge
Straight-edge and Round-edge cuts are made after the tip is applied to nail. Insert tip into cutting slot of edge cutter. Hold cutter straight up and sown, Press handle to cut tip. This will create a straight-edge.
Round-edge
Insert tip into cutting slot of edge cutter. Hold cutter at a 45° angle with body of cutter toward the palm of client's hand. Press handle to cut tip. When tip will have a round-edge.
