Best use practice:
- General wear and tear is to be expected. For a longer-lasting knife, cut on a wooden or medium strength plastic cutting board. Cutting on a hard surface such as stone, metal, or glass may dull the blade quickly.
- If the blade requires sharpening, use a knife sharpener. We recommend a sharpening stone be used for best results.
After use:
- We recommend washing by hand with mild soap and warm water and drying soon after use with a dry, clean cloth
- Store your knife properly. It is best to store it in a knife block or it's box, in a dry place.
- Occasionally oil the handle lightly with food safe, neutral oil.
- Sharpen the knife with a knife sharpener, as necessary.
To avoid rust - Never, ever:
- Leave the blade resting in standing water or into acidic or alkaline liquid.
- Leave the knife to soak in water or rest on a damp towel, cloth etc. - Store in direct contact with leather
- NOT diswahser safe
Warning:
- Keep away from children
- Do not use to cut metal, wood, and hard bones
- Keep them away from flames and high temperatures to avoid damaging the protective layer and handle
- To avoid unintended injury, keep the knife insight rather than covering it with a cloth on the counter. Do not try to catch the knife with your hands if it slips or drops and does not test the knife sharpness on hand
- Discontinue use when the blade gets dull until you are to sharpen the knife and resume use. This will keep the knife in the best condition
