This strap is used together with your back pack or Camelpak. The dual kit clips onto the shoulder straps rings of your pack back/Camelpak, thus allowing the weight to be distributed onto your back, not on your neck. The main aim is to take the weight off your neck just as a harness does, but designed for people who are already hiking with a backpack. Most back packs/Camelpaks are equipped with a pair of rings. The strap is adjustable and is designed to withstand the weights heavy cameras or binoculars.
